At Nicho Produce Company, Inc. we unfailingly monitor our produce to ensure we meet and exceed all food safety regulations based on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) by following Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP). Our team of highly qualified professionals manages and monitors the entire fresh food safety supply chain, from growers to distributors to customers.

All suppliers in the Nicho Produce family are inspected are required to have a food defense programs in place.

In times of crisis, our food safety team responds immediately to any recall or outbreak situation and quickly communicates pertinent information to our customers and distributors. With our technology in place, right on the food label bar code, we can instantly trace each fruit and vegetable from the grower to market, each step of the way.
